Shipping Information


The packaging vary based on the number and size of items ordered. Our shoes and Danceflats are shipped with a GFranco shoe bag. We do not ship our shoes or Danceflats with shoe boxes.

Estimated Fees

To determine the estimated shipping cost to ship any item to your desired address, you may select any item and the estimated shipping cost will be displayed in your cart. The shipping rates are displayed in your shopping cart page, with a map showing your location and the option to select a different location. You are NOT obligated to make the purchase or provide a payment method if you do not choose to proceed to checkout.

Actual Shipping Fee

The actual shipping fee will be displayed at checkout once your actual destination address in inserted on the shipping page.

GFranco Shoes ships orders by Canada Post.  

PROCESSING TIMES

GFranco Shoes processes online orders 7 days a week with some exceptions such as holidays. We typically process and package online orders placed before 3:00 pm EST on the same day an order is placed. Online orders placed after 3:00 PM EST are processed the following business day. Orders with a large number of items may take additional days to process.  While we process orders 7 days a week, Canada Post picks up packages from our warehouse Monday through Friday, with some exceptions such as holidays. 

GFranco Shoes does not assume any responsible for lost and stolen packages or any delays with shipping an order or the manner it was delivered after a package is physically transferred from our possession to the possession of Canada Post or any other carrier.  As discussed below, insurance may be available for domenstic orders.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR DOMESTIC SHIPPING

The domestic transit time vary based on your destination address.  Transit times that may be stated on GFranco Shoes’ shipping page during checkout is the estimated transit time provided by the Canada Post and such time is in addition to the estimated time it takes GFranco Shoes to process and packaging an order. Estimated domestic transit times for shipping within Canada may be found at Canada Post's website at https://www.canadapost.ca/business/tools/ds/default.aspx. 

With some exceptions, Canada Post provides limited insurance for orders shipped Priority™, Xpresspost™, Expedited Parcel™ at no additional cost. Priority, Xpresspost and Expedited Parcel services include up to $100 Liability Coverage against loss or damage.  Further information regarding Canada Post's insurance policy may be found at https://www.canadapost.ca/tools/pg/manual/PGpscanada-e.asp#1404464.

GFranco Shoes has no control over the manner in which Canada Post or other carriers deliver packages and for this reason, GFranco Shoes assumes no responsibility for packages that may be lost, stolen or for any other reason a package fails to be delivered or received after GFranco Shoes transfers packages to the possession of Canada Post or any other carrier.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We are unable to estimate international transit times for international orders because the transit time of a carrier for the country of destination who receives your package from Canada Post is unknown to GFranco Shoes.

International shipments may be subject to import taxes, duties, and customs fees, which are levied once your package reaches the country of destination, and are the sole responsibility of the customer. GFranco Shoes cannot determine or estimate the duties, taxes, cutoff fees levied by the country of destination. GFranco Shoes does not charge or collect and is not responsible for payment of customs, taxes, and duties. For more information regarding your country’s importation policies and fees, please contact your local customs office and/or postal carrier. Orders that are refused or otherwise returned to GFranco Shoes for failure to pay customs or duties are not eligible for a refund of any shipping or handling fees.

TRACKING YOUR SHIPMENT

An email with the tracking number will be sent to you once your order is processed. In addition to this email, if you established a customer account on our website, you may log into your account to retrieve the tracking number. International orders may only show transit information up to the point a package is transferred from Canada Post to the country of destination.  International customers should contact their local carrier for information about final transit withing country of destination.  Canada Post records display transit information related to the country of destination.
